Does your Oil Pressure light work?
Just checked mine using page 47 of the manual, my light did not go on.
Taken from RX300 2002 manual:
How to check all the service reminder
indicators
(except the low fuel level warning light):
1. Apply the parking brake.
2. Open the door.
The following service reminder indicator should come on. It
goes off when you close the door completely.
3. Turn the ignition key to “ON”.
a bunch of lights should go on including Low Oil Pressure.
Does yours work? Nice info to know and possibly help avoid Engine Check light which in our case seems to mean the engine is trashed.
