I found that i cant lock my doors with remote with the engine running. IE....... if im outside of car with other key/remote, i cant lock my doors while the engine is running. I guess the security system must be blocking that?

 

That is to prevent being locked out. Technically that is not security at work but really design feature.

You can still be locked out with the key inside the cabin (not in ignition), but once the key is in ignition, then only inside buttons would enable locking.
