Do all SC400's have the remote for unlocking the doors? Just bought mine, and it didn't have one?

Yes, the remote is a little button on the side of the key. If you don't have it, the last owner might lost the original keys. It's not worth to get the replacement key because you have to change the remote ECU and program the new key. Get an after market alarm system and it will have the remote lock function.
