I need some help here.

I'm thinking about replacing the shocks, struts, springs on my '99 RX with about 55K on it.

Thing is I'm not sure what component to replace!?!

So my question is what exactly do I need to change out? The shocks? Struts? Springs? What?

I'm thinking I'll need to replace the shocks or struts, right?

Next question is what brand of shocks or struts will fit on the RX?

I'm not looking to a performance upgrade (i.e. stiffer suspension) I just want to restore more or less the original ride.

Can anyone offer some good suggestions?

I also have a 99 and replaced them at about 55K, too, but only the ones in front, as they get the most damage. Forget about the springs and anything in the rear. Your struts and shocks take most of the damage in the front. I went to the Lexus dealer and had part of it covered under warranty (even though I was over 50K).
