I use Meguiars Endurance Tire Gel. I've had the stuff last two weeks minimum through two storms.

I had a set of tires which explicitly stated not to use any dressing. Most of the tires dont have this restriction.

Where did you read that? On the tire itself?

I'm curious whether or not my tires have the same restriction.

I use black magic tire shine, pick it up at Walmart when I get motor oil and such. Cheap and works well enough.

I will try to dig up the source ... most likely they were Potenza -pole position (my best guess). Once I find out, I will post here. ... some blurp about constituent material of the tire.

I think most manufacturers say no dressing. I think they want the rubber to breath. I do it anyway. My tires aren't going to last forever, so I don't care.

i've used this Shining Monkey "non-spitting" tire shine on and off for years. The thing i hate about most tire shine products is that they sling onto your paint.

Our RX though, i prefer no tire shine. I just clean the tire with Westley's Bleche Wite.
