2001 lexus rx 300 when the climate control temp dial is turned the led display either remains the same or moves slowly. sometimes one must turn the dial 20 times to increase/decrease temp by 1 degree. What can this be? Thanks

 

Perhaps the "potentiometer" that the **** turns is dirty. Can you spray some contact cleaner in around the ****?
If so make sure the cleaner you use does not harm or stain plastic (test first, or mask off the surrounding area).

 

I never had reason to turn the dial more than one turn. Does your turn more than 1 full turn ... you said 20 .. just making sure I read it right.
