Question Foglights?

Sorry if this is a repeat thread... I recently bought a 2001 Lexus RX300 black/grey upgrading(in my opinion) from my white 03 EnvoyXL. I feel really stupid asking this question bc i can normally figure something this easy out myself. In the headlights by the HIDs on the outter side theres another little circle that looks like theres a bulb in it. I've been searching online to figure out what this is exactly and what kind of bulb it takes. both bulbs on each side are out on my vehicle and the only thing I could find online was a video of an RX300 in the snow, possibly with the fogs on? It looked like these may go along with the bottom foglights in the headlight? I hope someone knows what im talking about and can answer my question. Thanks...

Those aren't foglights... the are just an accent lighting. The part number is around here somewhere. If I find it, I will post it. The foglights are on the bottom outer edge of each headlight. I will also try to get you a picture of both.
Upper right light is the accent light I think you are talking about. Bottom right is the foglight on the RX's. The switch for the foglights is on your headlight stalk.

RX has

1. High beams, which glow at reduced intensity as DRL (daytime running lights).
2. Low beam.
3.Parking lights.

Sandwiched, between the headlamp and the bumper are

1. Turn lights (warning blinkers)
2, Fog lights.

Although it is lots of fun to discover things on your own, one should read the owner's manual.

i think the ones you are talking about are the parking lights. They can be "easily" access thro the side wheel fenders. just remove one or two screws that hold the top-front fenders and pry open.
When you do change them i recommend going LED (T10 type LED).

Yes! Those are exactly what I was talking about! Thank you all so much for the replies! I was looking online and the video I saw the truck had the foglights on, thats why I assumed they were part of the foglight. I am definately going to switch to the LEDs, thank you for the suggestion. I'm not normally this about things like this . It was too late to go to any auto part store to find out, I couldn't find anything online, I was impatient to find out what it was and I kept running across this forum so I figured I'd join. I havent been on any car forums in awhile. I did start reading my manual . They have some pretty cool options I sure would have never figured out on my own. Like holding the unlock button and the windows and sunroof open. I am definately happy with this Lexus! Thanks again for helping me...

<- that is soo cute!
