Default lighting question..

my drivers side ballast has been out for about a month. i was recently in a wreck and replaced the headlights with some used ones. the bodyshop went ahead and got a ballast for my headlight. i got the car back yesterday and when i turned on the headlights, the drivers side was a little more yellow. the passenger side was the same as its always been (more white). on top of this, the cut off lines that the hids make are different. the drivers side beam is higher. i noticed this when i pulled into my driveway and parked about a foot from my garage door. the lines on the garage were at different levels, and clearly showed two different colors. do ya'll think the bodyshop changed out the bulb on the drivers side? and are the different levels due to the housings being on crooked? please help me out, thanks.

replace the old bulb and you should be good to go. after you get that settled, then just align your headlights.

HID bulbs get whiter/bluer as they are used. The new bulb looks very yellow compared to the old one. You should hurry and get a brand new bulb to match the other one before it ages. As with the new headlight, it probably isn't aimed yet.
