Default GPS system looking for disc?

All of a sudden when I start my 2003 RX300 my GPS system no longer works. It says it can't find the disc.

I can hear a clicking sound coming from the area of the cd changer but I always thought the navigation box was in the rear.

Any ideas?

"Can't find the disk" is usually a read error requiring the DVD drive be repaired or replaced. Not sure where the drive is on the RX300 - if it's in the rear, the noise you are hearing may be unrelated to the NAV system (eg air mix servo clicking/grinding).

Nav ECU drive at the rear right side of the trunk next to the spare tire.
