I have a small dent in my tailgate and would like to take the inside panel off to see if I can pop the dent out. Any tips on how to get at it? It's a 2003, and the dent is a few inches below the window on the drivers side.

 

Not sure if you've figured it out yet but if its the same as a 1999 the bottom inside that has the fuzz on it just pulls off start at one side then pull until it pops off then try to put your arm into the cover and pull from the clips themselves or some may seperate from the plastic cover, if they do just hot glue them back on.
