Default 99 RX300 missfire

111,000 miles and it has been running great until today. Went to the store and came back everything is fine. An hour later I pull out of the driveway and it's bucking and shaking. I went to Advance Auto and had it scanned.
Multipule cylinder missfire on #4 and #5
I bought a set of plugs and a coil.
I checked the new coil with an ohm meter and each coil as I changed the plugs. Everyone was so close to the new coil's readings I kept putting the old coils back in. Then I pulled #5, it checked perfect just like the others. HOWEVER it had a smell like a bad light fixture ballest. That's the one I replaced and after a trip back to Advance to have the codes cleared it runs better than ever.
2 1/2 hours and $150 and what could have been a nighmare is fixed. Ready for the weekend!

RX needs new plugs at 110k miles. Go ahead replace them all [use OEMs] and replace any failed coil-pack. Ohms reading is only one set of test.

Your problem is solved. For readers, I would suggest swap the suspect to the even cylinders (near the radiator) for ease of replacement.
