2000 rx300 awd
A good paint job cost thousands of dollars, so unless your willing to spend a ton of money for a nice paint job, leave it how it is. OEM is paint is hard to match quality wise.
The RX is categorized as a Truck, even though it's a CUV.
I don't see what makes you think the RX is a "granny-mobile", but to each their own i guess.
hypervish,i will just give it a good ole detail and leave it at that, will send pics soon,
my suv is a good quiet ride the best vehcile i ever own just take alot to maintain. but i would not call it granny yet ..may just do a wedding ceremony for us both...lol
I AM planning on moving up to a newer RX model ,which one would you recommmend... 350/450h ? or...something else.

My brother has a 2010 RX450h, and he loves it! I drive it any chance I get, and the 2013 look's even more appealing. I for one actually like the more aggressive front grill. I plan on driving my 2000 RX till the wheels come flying off. But, If I had to get up tomorrow and buy a new car, it'd sure as heck be an RX450h. I'd get the hybrid over the 350 mostly due to the mpg's which over a 10 year span would net me savings. Plus, the additional power is a nice bonus. I usually drive my car's forever, so a hybrid would be a good choice for me, since I would eventually make my money back. So, I think it really depends on how long you are planning on keeping the vehicle.
Different tires on each axle can cause damage to the differential and or transfer case. But, it's more so Subaru's which are easily damaged by mis-matched tires.
I'd say that as long as each axle is running the same tires, it shouldn't be a big deal. Do I recommend doing that? Nope. lol

Hybrids cost so much to maintain it's ridiculous and then you could need new batteries which also cost a fortune.
