I need to put two new tires on my RX300, I bought it used and it came with Nexen SB702's up front that are relatively new and Firestones on the rear that are shot. I was told that with AWD you should really match the tires so it would make financial sense to buy two new Nexen SB702 tires.
My question is has anyone had any experience with these tires. I'm seeing mixed reviews so far. Best price for a 225/70 R16 I'm finding is $88 per tire shipped.
I suggest buying two new Nexen tires (same as the front one's), so that you have 4 matching tires. And, put the new tires in the rear.
Also, be sure to check the air pressure in the spare tire, as not many check it as regular as they should. I admit I don't check the pressure of my spare tire, either. haha
Found Nexen SB702s online for $88 each, best price I can find. Reviews that I can find are basically positive, good tire especially for the price. Thanks for your advice.
