A while ago I posted about hooking up a code reader and only getting 70% throttle, upon checking the sensor as described in one of the manuals it was not reading the correct resistance values, is there a way to change the sensor without removing the entire throttle body?
Also on a side note does anyone know else get a loud whistle sound over 40mph? If so has anyone found what it comes from? I've tried folding in the mirrors, moving the windhsield wipers and cracking the sun roof but it's none of those things making the sound any other ideas?
I came across this in my research. It's more generic from toyota so I don't know if it will be helpul. But I do understand not want to take apart the throttle body. (If you do though, change your spark plugs. )
As for the whitsle have you checked the insulation around the doors?
I know on mine, there are a couple of place that have pieces torn out and it's very lightweight and sort of hollow. More air definitely comes through those spots near my legs and if you have something similar but in a higher location around the door that could account for the whitsle.
