Default Rattling Noise in my Engine

I recently changed the 6 spar-plugs of my car. But after a month i'm hearing rattling noise in the engine when I accelerate or climbing on high slope. Does anyone know what that noise is? My mechanic does not what it is, he mention a lot probabilities i want to make sure from you guys your opinion.

Did you torque the spark plugs correctly? I could not get the torque wrench for the back ones and did it by feel only.

What about the rest of the stuff .. loose cover etc.

Honestly, the odds of some one guessing it right over the net is very low. One has to listen in person.

+1. And if your mechanic can't figure it out, find a new mechanic.

Not to state the obvious, but there wouldn't be a dropped socket extension or something in there, possibly? I remember dropping some as I changed those three rear plugs, but I found them. I don't remember what they landed on or in when I dropped them.

I hate to say it might be the tip of a spark plug that had worn off (rare, but possible), but the first issue is to pinpoint the area and you my need to have someone else drive the car say in an empty parking lot slowly so you can see where the actual rattle is coming from. I sometimes get some noise near the water pump area on the passenger side of the engine near the belts on a cold day. You also might want to listen to the area where the transmission meets the engine underneath the middle of the vehicle and see if you hear anything there...flywheels can sometimes make that sound.

Sometimes 30 or less down here. I usually started to hear that rattle when it would get into the low 60s.

It was Canadian Tire garage who change my sparplugs and brought their again last week and they said that i need to change the fuel that i'm using, which contain Octane 91. But the noise is still their. Maybe Salim is right that one of the rear sparplugs is not properly tight.

Now you can have the code read and hopefully figure out what is going on.

The RX300 is spec'd to work with 87 octane gas without pinging (its in the users manual). Higher octane gas allows the ingnition timing to be advanced by the computer for more power but the car works fine on 87 octane. They could have used the wrong temperature plugs. Whatever the cause, it appears to be emanating from the plug change so you need to have them go over this gaian and make sure they used the correct (iridium) plugs. Remember those plugs on the rear bank are a b_tch to change so they may have installed them incorrectly.
