Default New projector headlights installed

Just finished installing new projector headlights to my RX. I know how some of you feel about the CCFL or "angel eyes" look, but I like em I also picked up the Mercedes/Audi style LED fogs/daytime lights. Just thought I would share some photos.

Now I got some 20's on order and I need to lower it

Can I ask what you did with your old headlights? Did you have the 01-03 style or the 99-00 style?

My old headlights I still have. They are the 99-00 black housing ones.

I bought both lights from EliteAutoStyle.com The headlights were $585 for the pair plus and the LED fog lamps were $350

I wouldn't get the fogs, they block the already terrible air passage to the transmission cooler... but the headlights look good!

Isn't the tranny cooler right in front of the radiator? I see it right when I open my hood.

Yeah, doesn't make sense since you already have integrated fog lamps right below headlights.

The cutouts where the after market lights were put in weren't designed for holding lights, but for airflow.

In front of the radiator is the A/C condenser.

Yes, but in front of the AC condender is another small cooler. It's definitely either a oil cooler or ATF cooler. Because when I took my fender liner out to install the headlights and daytime lights there was nothing behind the front bumper holes. I'll snap a photo, I'm not crazy LOL

The ATF cooler is behind the windshield water pot. You can see it from the passenger side wheel, if you look inside of the fins in the fender.

EDIT: Here'a a picture of it: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/5294748-post4.html
There's a windshield water pot that's suppose to be in front of the cooler, but it isn't there in that picture because Lexmex removed his to allow for more airflow into the cooler...

Well then I think mine must have been relocated or something then because it's sitting right in front of my radiator. I've also attached how the lights look like at night. They are much brighter in person but I had to use a quick shutter on my camera cuz it was WAY too bright

I bought it like that. When I did a record check on the vehicle before I bought it, I noticed there was a damage claim for about $2500. There was no details about where the damage was but after close examination I noticed the RH headlight was not OEM and the bumper has been repainted on the right side. So my guess is that the ATF cooler may have been damaged and was relocated during repair.

EDIT: So I've just confirmed it. I just unbolted my fender liner on the passenger and the ATF cooler is not there and is routed to the cooler shown in the pic in my previous post. Now I don't have to worry about my LED lights blocking anything
