headlight removal 2000 RX300
Hope that someone can answer the following question.
I'm trying to remove headlights and repair winshield washer tank on my 2000 RX300. When I try to remove wheel well cover to access the bolts that need removal, I find that the wheel well cover extends forward under the bumper & bumper guard, and seems to hold it securely in place. The DIY threads that I've seen for this procedure don't talk specifically about this model Lexus.
On the RX300, do I have to remove all of the bolts securing the wheel well under the bumper to loosen it enough to gain access to the necessary area, or do I just remove the fasteners in the wheel well and pull hard to pry it out of the way? I previously tried the latter, but the cover didn't seem to want to move, even out from under the rim of the bumper. Did I just not pull hard enough?
