Default Please help me identify this part

Two questions:
Can someone help me identify the part that's shown in the picture? It's located right next to the battery and what seems to be corrosion or white build-up around it. Should I be concern?

The second question that I have is o2 sensor seen on the far left of the picture, I'm trying to replace it because of p1071 code (I've already cleaned and changed the MAF, checked the air filter box and nothing is loose, so the next thing is Bank 1 o2 sensors). Since Advance Auto Parts has $50 off $200 on parts, I wanted to take advantage of it and replace it. Which one in the picture do you guys suggest for the bank 1 two sensors (one that's in the picture below far left and the one that's near the firewall)? I wish they had OEM Denso, but they don't...

Thanks in advance.

BTW, I've decided not to go with the o2 sensors in the pic. I couldn't remove my attachment. Help is still required to identify the part in pic 1.

You can find them cheap on Amazon, and it will be OEM Denso. Do yourself a favor and save some money, and headaches and just get the OEM Part.

I know, I was hesitant on posting the price, but there is a $50 off coupon.

The only problem is that Bosch, doesn't comply so well with the ECU's in the RX. But you can always try it, there is a few people that have tried Bosch for O2 Sensors, some sensors failed, and some are still working! Good Luck!

That's good to know. I've decided to go with OEM and not be cheap about it. Thanks Hypervish.

No problem. As for the part in the picture I'm not too sure what that is exactly. I may have to go take a look at mine, and try to see if I can figure it out.

No, I don't think so. It sort of look like a o2 sensor of sort, but it's not.

That part appears to be part of the park/neutral safety switch assembly.

What's wrong with that part right now?

I knew Lexmex would come through for me.
It's a little corroded with white powdery stuff. I'm going to clean it off a bit, but just want to make sure it's not something I should worry about.
