Default 2000 RX300 Driver Window and Door Lock

I have a 2000 RX300. The driver side window and door lock does not work. The master switch works fine with all the other doors and windows as does the remote on the key, it's only the driver side door that does not respond to either. Just replaced the master switch and still having the same problem. Anyone know any wiring issues that may cause this? I'm guessing this is probably what it is. Thanks for any help.

And you just leave the window up all the time as well? Doesn't work well for my wife, she's pissed cause she can't go through drive through, I told her to get out and walk in, and she said if I said that again, I can "get out" and walk in somewhere else.

It sounds like you need a drivers side door lock actuator and a drivers side window regulator/motor. Which are both expensive.

I would definitely check them out before I ordered parts or took it somewhere to have them replaced. The lock actuator does fail in time, the window motors are not known to fail with the same regularity at all.

I agree with code58, it would be an expensive mistake if that were not the problem. So, It's best to take it somewhere and have it checked out.
