I will have my new RX...... I'm not sure if I'm going to put my bars from my old one on this one... But anyway this one will be much better that that ols $hit I had....... As soon as get it I will take some pics with the GS.... Oh, my GS is in the shop getting Tein "Flex" coilovers put on.... So this bad boy is going to be dropped....

I was wondering when your new RX was coming in.

I've found a Sequoia (sitting in carport now) for the folks. It's an amazing vehicle...a HUGE Toyota! I had to send my digicam to Fuji for repairs, so I won't be able to take pics for a couple weeks

 

New RX...Always a thrill. You gonna drop that bad boy, too?

 

Hey, you guys are getting ahead of yourselves.... New Bodysyle won't be out for at least 6 months.... And I don't think I'll be the first to have it..... But I'll still have that touch to impress.... As for the Imposter (LX/4runner) my mom has it...... And I hate it.... I don't know why, but I don't like it at all.....

C'mon now, the Sequoia kick's ***! It is a Silver Limited 4x4 and sits mile high and drives like its half as big. The steering and braking are top notch. It has 4-piston front calipers :eek:

 

C'mon now.... I have driven/riden in it...... It's not all that....

 

Well, i think we are cruising into opinion territory here if you mean "all that" however it is all that I described it to be. I am impressed with how it drives and the fit and finish is among the best in it's class. It's also very quiet.

Some of the more important factors were the side-curtain airbags, VSC and 4-wheel TRAC, electronic brakeforce distribution, brake assist, and the great crash test results. These will keep the folks safe while traveling.

I think the Sequoia is such a winner in my book is because it's a bargain compared to the LX/LC. It has the same V8 as those two, a newer platform, and is larger inside. I think it's a no-brainer compared to the Land Cruiser. It doesn't even have digital climate control and just feels like it needs to be bigger. I didn't like it when I first saw it a year ago b/c of the, IMO, plain styling (inside and out) but the more I saw it the more I loved it.

That is it, in a nutshell. I don't expect everyone to feel how I do about the SUV.

 

mr sypher... i picked up my brand new 2002 rx today (thur) from the showroom, but...... as i walked up to it in the second showroom upstairs the lady said here is yours..... and i took one look at it and said no its not. lol. first of all there are no chrome rims on it like i asked for and there is a trailer hitch which i didnt ask for. well the long and short of it was.... they were gonna put the chromies on and deliver the truck to my house the same day. and throw in the hitch for free. dealer calls me back today they ran into a problem with the vsc light comming on after they changed the rims... (IMO bull****) so whatever they are bringing it to me tomorrow. ill let u guys know what happens tomorrow

 

PS. by the way mr sypher.... what bars do u have for the rx, are u seeling them? got anything good i can buy from u? any rod millen grills?

 

JIm, Congrats on your new RX..... As for the bars, I'm not sure what I'm doing with them.... I might sell somethings but Like I said who knows.... Also, where did you buy your new Lex at??

The TV's I'm keeping, not sure about the Subs... I am using the AMP in the GS, so I will proboly let the Sub's and the box go.....
