Default HID problem

I recently bought a HID kit for it, its a plug and play but it doesnt work. i tried it out on my bike and the bulbs and ballast are good. i read something about the daytime running lights having something to do with the problem. the daytime/high beams are 9005. the other lights are 9006... anyone know how to fix this and what i can do? THANK YOU

As you mentioned the DRL are high beam bulb. You installed the HIDs on the low beam. right? Your high beams and DRL still work properly?

When you say plug'nPlay, you mean no cut/splice. You still have to insert the ballasts in line with the the new HID bulb.

Double check your wiring. After that, it may be time to contact seller fir a return.

I have the same problem. This 9006 worked fine in my 2001 Accord (also 9006) but won't work in the RX. When the car is running, I turn on the headlights and the bulbs flicker once and then stay off. When I try to run the HIDs with the car off, nothing happens at all.

This is a plug and play kit too, which means it draws power and signal from the stock headlight bulb socket. Perhaps there isn't enough power in the stock wiring? Would this kit need to be powered directly from the batter?

Come on guys, you need to list which kit and who makes it. If they have a web site, maybe I can visit and offer help.

i recently changed my lows to HIDs and I got them to work... I bought a 35w kit from HIDXTRA.

I found out that by followling ddmtuning's instructions, i got mine to work. And that is, i plugged the OEM bulb harness directly to the ballast.
