Absolutely nasty on the front sensor.

 

I just got a P1130. I could only get the Bosch version because a Denso was not available on such short notice. Someone mentioned above that Bosch is no good... why?

Also, If one sensor goes bad, does that mean the others are soon to follow? Should I replace them all together?

 

I've remembered hearing from some members they sometimes had issue with non-Densos sensors. You can give it a shot and see what your experience is, but given you needed it quick I can understand.

In my case above, I always knew in my case when I was going to replace one I was going to replace the other at the same time. Sometime the sync won't be there with air/fuel given how badly deteriorated one sensor is versus another. The CEL light might not come on but you might notice perhaps an odd driveability (not necessarily a hesitation, but a stagnation with one bad sensor and one new sensor).

My sensors were still running, but given their condition, I knew my MPG could be better now back on U.S. gasoline unlike the Mexican junk.

Thank you all for the info on this thread! I got the Denso sensor from Amazon and the oxygen sensor socket kit and with the help of a little PB Blaster, I got the rear (bank 1 sensor 1) sensor replaced yesterday. Cleared the code pulling the 20amp EFI fuse and now crossing my fingers to see if my P1135 code comes back.

Bank 1 Sensor 1 is the sensor located in the rear exhaust manifold, firewall side, and is accessible from underneath the auto on the passenger side.

Bank 2 Sensor 1 is the sensor located in the front exhaust manifold, aft of the radiator, and is accessible from the top side.

Pictures of both sensors with removal/installation instructions are written up elsewhere on the forum.

yes, it is the same sensor for both those banks you mentioned.

No, the sensor aft of the cat is an O2 sensor not an A/F sensor and has a different number.
You can do a search for the O2 sensor on the forum.

I had P0135 error. Got a Desno at Advanced Auto Parts and changed it out using this DIY. Thank you all for the info.

Yeah i did because at first i didnt use a breaker bar. But i bought a breaker bar and it came off. I also had probelms pushing the tab and pulling out the plug. Had to get my bro to push on the tab from the hood while i pulled on the plug from the bottom.
