Default E-3 Plugs

What do you guy`s think about using E-3 plugs in the RX?? I purchased one for my 5.5hp OHV power washer, and it works great! It always used to have black soot at the muffler pipe, now it burns nice and clean.

I just looked over the E3 website, I have never heard of them before. I wonder how they would perform in the RX? Also, did you ever look at the pulsar plugs, what do you think of those?

Just checked these spark plugs out on www.sparkplugs.com, they are only $5.95 each which is cheaper than the Iridium plugs. Also, I know currently I have Denso IK20's in my car...which has a 0.35 gap, these E3 plugs have a .40 gap, and if you look at others on that website, others are a 0.44 gap. So I was wondering, which is the correct gap for the RX, and would the gap effect performance of each plug?

Ya know John,if these vehicles were easy to replace plugs on,I would try the E-3`s I think .35 is the right gap.

Straight from the manual.

They recommend the Denso SK20R11 or the NGK IFR6A11.

Maximum gap for a used plug 1.2 mm (0.047 in)

For a new plug it is 1.0 to 1.1 mm (0.039 in to 0.043 in)

I should note that when I used my 4 pronged Torquesmasters on my otherwise stock RX300, I noticed nothing and tried Densos and NGKs again, but after doing modifications (exhaust intake) and then switching back to Torquemasters, the vehicle came alive.

I'm afraid that if mine ever "came alive" it would leave the transmission dangling behind it. LOL!

I went to the Bosch Fusion plugs a while ago and was unimpressed. I put new Denso IK's in and the engine is smooth.

Wow, you're the only success story I've seen with the Bosch O2 sensors. But hey, if it works then great! I was just unimpressed with their plugs and would get random CEL's.
