2001 RX300 Window Sticks
I have a 2001 RX 300. During wet weather or rain, my passenger window will stick. I can roll it down part of the way, then it will not come back up. Sometimes when it is part of the way down, when I try to bring it up, it goes all of the way down and sticks. This is from the passenger switch. But it will not come up from the driver switch either. If you bang on the door panel a few times, it will eventually come back up. HELP
My question is:
Does this seem to be a problem with the window motor?
A problem with the passenger window switch or
A problem with the Drivers master window switch?
Thanks

Based on all of the post I've read doing a search, it seems that this problem is in the master or passenger window switch(s).
The motor and master switch are both high $$ items. Just trying to narrow down which way to go.
Any other suggestions are greatful.

BlackRX300, wondering if you found out any further info on this. My passenger side window will intermittently fail to raise up from a partly open position. Putting the window all the way down and then back up has worked. Same symptom occurs from both internal window switches.
I have this same problem with my wifes rx 300 2002
& why is it always the freeking PASSENGER SIDE...??
I also have been told that the parts are $$$$ to replace if that is the fix required....
I unfortunately have no magic bullet answer here, just looking to understand what others have tried.

One other thing that it can be is the battery. I also have an issue on that same side shown in the thread above with my speaker on that side (very low volume). My neighbor and I are going to check it together electrically (he knows electric systems really well), but I have a hunch my 5 year old Optima battery being exposed to Florida weather is going south and some initial checks on the battery and voltages show it on the low side, but $$$ and my budget leave me little choice to leave as is for the time being.

i kinda have the same problem. my passenger window will go down at normal speed then slow down really badly and struggle to go down while being really loud and then goes down normally again. to fix this should i clean the motor? or spray some lubricant down? it's been doing this since i bought the car 3 years ago and hasn't gotten worse or better btw.
