Well,as I mentioned before,If the torque converter would lock up in 3rd gear,I would use it with o/d off a lot.

I notice mine goes into overdrive well before 37mph....I think Lexus was trying to program in fuel economy...

Right,but when you have the over drive off,it doesnt lock up the torque converter,(which acts like another gear) it only locks up in regular drive mode(o/d on)
