Welcome to the Club.

If you've done an FWD removal, the AWD removal is no different on this vehicle.

Take a look back at my something went bump thread, https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=320390 that might give you a better look at the setup.

My wifes truck has a leak like this. Is it possible to pour in some engine stop leak to see if this helps? I used some in my '90 Miata and it worked great. I know this is not a old Mazda, but just wondering.

I heard other people when I was in Mexico using it, that's how I found out about the stuff and for the price, about $5, it doesn't hurt to give it a try. I recently used it in my girlfriend's Expedition as she was having issues with oil leaking around the rings and causing a misfire in one cylinder. Now I did use that in conjunction with Restore oil additive, but I haven't had much of an issue now, misfire rarely occurs and then only when she gets to the bottom of her fuel tank (that's another issue I am dealing with) but it's rare.

I'm worried that i may to incur huge amounts of money to solve this problem after reading that some RX300 has gaskets issues after 50K miles. Worst of all is that there is no more warranty on the car.

Attached is a photo indicating the points that i noted drops of oil.

Pls advise.
I have a 2002lexus GS300 front engine oil leak . Cold start bad leak leaked out all in driveway trying to get out of snow..then came a slight but loud knocking.valve or rod knock in engine..
Im attempting to disassemble front (Minor cam covers ana harmonica ballancer)to view oil leak...I need to know if this is a crank seal? Seal i can change without removing timing belt....what other leaks to look for and what other lower end leaks . oil pressure relief valve? Oil pump gasket....and best place o buy gasket/seals/ ect. Please help
