Default P0440 Engine Code

2002 RX300 141,000 miles
Had the code read at Autozone.
Replaced the gas cap, code came back.
Any other likely causes besides a disconnected hose. Unless a hose is cracked or came off by itself I don't think its a hose. I do need to do a thorough check though.
Thanks for any tips.

Alex

I thought about a bad canister.
Anyone know of a way to check it before replacing?

Did your RX end up needing a canister? How hard was it to change please? Cost?

Thanks, Mike
