Default How to get to the Override screen for Version 2.1

This could be a repost but I couldn't find it here in the RX forum. This over ride allows you/passenger to key in address on your nav while driving. This will stop working after the car has shut off so you would have to repeat the steps below each time you want to use your nav while driving.

1. Press Menu
2. System Options
3. Should now show the map database version.
In that screen:
Press the upper left corner of the screen
Then press the lower left corner of the screen
Then press the upper left corner of the screen
Then press the lower left corner of the screen
Then press the lower right corner of the screen
4. Then it should bring you to the Override screen and then just hold on the over ride button until it's highlighted
5. Then hit the back button and you're done.

Default Replace Light Bulb on Shifter console

This took about 3 minutes to do.
2001 RX300
1. Just pop off the trim around the shifter. ( black trim as well as woodgrain trim is all one piece) There are no screws to remove.
2. You will have to put key into ignition to move shifter down to remove the piece of trim.
3. There is a small plug on the left hand side of the shifter. Twist it counter clockwise and pull it out. There is a small green rubber cover over the light. Replace the light bulb and put the green rubber cover over the new light bulb.
4. Screw in the light clockwise.
5. Replace trim . Make sure all metal clips are there.

The bulb is part # 90981-11018
I picked up the bulb for $7 from the lexus dealer.

Default FYI on IACV degrees of rotation

Per Salims request, the degrees of rotation on the IACV round valve or "barrel" is 90 degrees from stop to stop. It's important that it not be "forced" in rotation at all or it may go past the stops, causing possible replacement to be necessary.
