Changed all fluids - power steering fluid?
I have close to 90,000 miles on my 2000 RX300 and over the weekend I did a drain and refill on the following:
1) Transmission and front differential - DIY refill with Toyota ATF Type-IV
2) Transfer case - Toyota dealer refilled with 75-90 gear fluid
3) Rear differential - Toyota dealer refilled with 75-90 gear fluid
4) Brake fluid - DIY refill with Valvoline Synpower DOT 4 brake fluid
5) Power steering container - DIY refill with Toyota ATF Type-IV
6) Coolant was changed in 2007
Question: Is Toyota ATF Type-IV fluid an acceptable replacement for the power steering? I'm thinking about going to AutoZone to purchase Mobil 1 ATF or finding Amsoil.

You can use Toyota Type IV. I knew a few dealerships when I was back in Mexico that were using this for their Toyotas, but I highly recommend Mobil 1 ATF or Amsoil. Some guys who have run the Amsoil tell me it runs smooth, perhaps a bit too smooth for their tastes, but this was in relation to other vehicles, not the RX300.
