2000 RX300 CEL questions

2000 RX300 CEL questions
Hi all,
Three days ago, our 2000 RX 300 (with about 76,000 miles) had cel came on.
We went into advanced autoparts to get the codes read and they were:
P0440 x2
P0446 x2
The guy who checked our codes said each codes were shown twice.
What could cause these codes?
If I remember correctly, we had these codes before (about 4 months ago) and went into bodyshop and had these taken care of.
Could this be just a loose gas cap? or bad canister? or O2 sensor?
If anyone knows anything about these codes and what would be best way
to fix them, it would be greatly appreciated.

Well, I have posted before on these. Two multiple codes are pending codes, meaning the error was occurring before but not enough to trip the CEL, roughly speaking. Could be any of a number of things, gas cap, bad charcoal canister, bad lines to charcoal canister (ones that go over the fuel pump), vapor pressure sensor, hose on air box, or any of a number of hoses that sit just at the point where the intake manifold meets the rest of the engine block. I would go back to whatever that shop fixed specifically and have them take another look, though gas cap is a very common issue with these errors, and the charcoal canister would be the major one that occurs (in saying would be the worst one that I have seen with this error).
