Default Fog Lights???

I have a 2001 RX300. I'm just wondering if the yellow fog lights have a yellow bulb or a yellow filament around the bulb to make it look yellow? I'm wondering because I planned on buying a 9006 HID conversion kit to go in there. Anybody know?

Sorry but that wasn't exactly my question. I personally do NOT like yellow fogs, and could care less about seeing in the rain. I'm wondering if it's the bulb that makes them yellow or not. I want to put in new bulbs. I'm wondering if it's the bulb that makes it yellow, or if there is a screen/filament that makes them yellow.

THANK YOU. I don't need to do anything except buy the HID kit then?

Also, have you changed your DTR lights?

Aren't the DTR lights the same as the Hi-beams with just lower volt when off? I wouldn't change those to HID, just an upgrade to Silvestars or something. The low beam HID should be enough. I'm looking to order a kit right now as well.

All you need is the HID kit and install it like the low beams.

I disabled my DRLs so my halos would look better.

oooh, very nice, I didn't even think about just disabling them. Is there an easy way to do that?

you disconnect a plug near the bottom of the battery. lexmex made a thread about how to do it somewhere on this forum.
