I have posted a few times about our 02 FWD RX300, purchased in December. I obtained service history from dealer and it shows that a service was done twice on the vehicle at 32K and 61K, with the following notation:
Op Code: 86200 & 86300 - "Transaxle Service-ES & RX".
This IS a complete transmission service correct, including drain and fill?? What about differential stuff, is that included? (sorry, not great with the mechanical lingo!)
I have no idea, but generally the run of the mill service for transmission is a drain and fill at the dealer with at least draining the pan. Differential/transfer case you don't have to worry about on yours since you have FWD.
There is a part of the transmission through which the front axle goes through and that is called the front differential (it also holds ATF), whether or not they drained it or no is up in the air. I have heard of dealers only doing the pan, doing the pan and the front differential, and doing the pan, front differential and changing out the tranny filter.
