I've driven an '07 Civic Si and they are quick cars that have fun to drive written all over them. I don't really understand the reasoning of going from an Si to and RX300.

However there are some simple bolt-ons for RX300's, you might want to check out the Weapon-R Dragon and Secret Weapon intakes.

there arent really dual exhausts for rx300s, so your gonna have to get a custom one.

i just used universal magnaflow mufflers and custom piping. it sounds deep like a truck, but not as loud. its nothing like the ricey high pitched fart cans.

Mom clipped your wings for good reason. Learn to live with a differently-purposed vehicle. Your RX is not, nor will it ever be a sports car, no matter what you spend on modifications. You can make it loud, rough-riding, and ugly, but it will not get significantly faster short of a big-block transplant. Get too heavy handed with forced induction or spray, and that expensive V6 engine becomes a coffee table. That's one good reason very few serious aftermarket mods are available for it.

While the AWD version is capable of soft-roading adventures beyond where the pavement ends, it's no rock crawler either. It will take you places you couldn't go in your Civic, and will do so in all kinds of weather conditions. Lowering it will seriously limit the off-road capability, but considering it's not exactly Rubicon-ready anyway, for you that might not be too great a loss - if you are careful.

Why not build on the qualities your RX already excels in? It is a luxury cruiser that is as handy as a Swiss army knife. It can, with a few judicious tweaks, become even better. All that interior space gives you room for some serious entertainment upgrades, audio, video, navigation, and other electronics are available for your ride. Look into a combination of a car PC that will handle all of these plus bluetooth, and all of the functions of your home PC too.

Detail it out, and look for some really eye-catching rims. If you maintain all that wood and leather, it's going to be a LOT classier ride than the Civic.

Well said. For my speed craving moments, I have an 04 Mustang GT built to the gills and recently acquired a 02 WS-6 that will leave my Stang in the dust. However, I wouldn't put my 600+ RWHP Mustang or even the WS-6 in stock form in the hands of an 18 yr old with a "ticket" history.

Enjoy the RX for what it is.

The day I install a warp drive on my RX300, that'll be the day, until then I agree with Lil4X, if you want super thrills there are other vehicles.

The real limitation of the RX300 is the transmission.

This kid seems to be receptive thou...

You can make it look nice, but don't try to push it's limits and "rice it out"...

Good luck with it, it's definitely a nice ride. I plan to do a few cosmetics on it, maybe even an audio upgrade, but that's it.
