I've just had my headlamp leveling system sensor replaced for the 2nd time. My car has only 100k on it, and these repairs have exceeded $1000. Anyone else having this problem? Any solutions/suggestions?
Yup, Parts were $350 each time, with approx $150 labor each time.
seems high to me as well. I'm concerned with the failure of a critical part of the vehicle's operation and the cost of keeping it working. I've told by the dealer it's a design flaw and a common problem in the Northeast. They say that moisture/snow corrodes the sensor causing it to fail.
oh,thats nice,I live in the north east too.I have also stopped using my hid`s on the auto position.I feel it saves bulb life that way.Ex.pulling in/out of garage every day, they would come on/off.And less strain on bettery(at night they come on when you turn your key on,and don`t shut down during starting)Thats how i see it any way.
