can any one answer the following questions:
are there any issues w/the vehicle
what are ppl getting for gas mileage
how is the paint holding up? are there any major problems w/the paint chipping?
how are the brakes/rotors faring
how's the build quality
what don't you like about the vehicle

1999 Lexus RX300 all wheel drive =
gas milage is horrible
turning radius is horrible
paint chips alot (previous lexus's paint much better)
brakes needed minor work. (usual wear and tear)
build quality is excelent
overall i love the RX. just those complaints.
also had a recall on all four strut mounts, and brakes. all repaired by dealer under warranty.

The gas milage is OK. 18mpg in hilly stop and go and 24 mpg in a flat area.
Turning radius is the ONLY shortcoming, other than the limitation of serious off roading capability. RX is soft, smooth and spacious and trouble free (for many owners).
