Everytime I put the key in the ignition and wether it be to start it or anything else and take the key out the alarm goes off 30 secs after you take the key. what could be making this go off?? Thinking of putting an aftermarket alarm system in and having them bypass the factory if this problem cant be fixed. thanks for any help that can be given.

There could be many things, one of them could be a dying battery. Have you looked at that?

 

the battery is good, the alarm just goes off 30 secs after the key is taken out of the ignition, so i have to hit the unlock switch on the key so the alarm wont go off. any sugestions

hmmm, perhaps a bad (door) sensor, but I would not know where to look....sorry
