Default Factory Alarm

Does Lexus offer a factory alarm that can be integrated in the keyless entree system. If so, where can I purchase it at a good price. Please Advise.

I have a 99 GS300. I have the keyless entry, but I don't think that includes an alarm, does it?

Default It does. Try this as a test

Leave your driver's window open. Shut down and get out of your car. Close and lock using your remote. Reach in and open your door manually do not use the key to unlock and do not use the remote to unlock. Your alarm should go off (horn honking lights flashing etc.) The other way is to look at your remote/key does it have panic function/if so this triggers the alarm. Additionally your key is equipped with a transponder that sends a signal to the ignition and only that key can start your car.

don't forget to wait for 30 sec or so, I don't know how factory alarm works, but the aftermarket alarm, they usually take 30sec before the sensors in sync
what do you got to lose if you wait 30sec, right? hee hee except you are 30sec older
