Default OEM stereo info please!

i have the 99 lexus rx300 awd. i have the OEM stereo. It's the Lexus premium stereo. I wanted to know what brand they are, how many watts peak they are, how many watts RMS they are, and whatever other information you can tell me. I can't gage other speakers because I don't know what I already have.

The Lexus Premium system is all Pioneer, from the headunit to the amp and speakers, the Nakamichi hardware is the upgrade, you'll see "Nakamichi" logo on your headunit if you have it. If you don't and you just have "Lexus Premium Audio" or whatever then it's Pioneer.

I have the Nakamichi but having sat in an RX300 at a dealer with the Pioneer and playing the same Eagles CD in both, I couldn't tell much difference...then again I'm not much of an audiophile.

If you go to the Norcal forums, theres a bunch of members that have witnessed both, L7 and W6s from my RX. You can ask them

Some where between 99 and 2000 model there was an upgrade and additional 10 watts or so was added to the spec.

o ok...how is that decided? for example, if i get 2 speakers that are 200w total power, or 75w RMS, how much would that contribute to my systems overall rating? would i say that my system is 200w (just those speakers) or would i say it's 75 watts?

I hear. It was 240 watts on an Lexus RX300's Lexus Premium Audio System.
