Anulex, what year is your car and how are you getting free changes from Toyota?

Its a 2001 built in 2002 and put into service of October of 2002. When i bought it used from the Toyota dealer, i bought it with a toyota extended warranty. But when i got the contract it came as a Lexus Contract with was perfect for me. As part of the deal of the overpriced warranty was free oil changes for period of the warranty. i have another 2 years left but my mileage may come up 1st. However, i dont really drive it a lot now. I use my other car. This thing burns too much gas.

Is that possibly a typo? I thought they started building 03s in 2002.

no its not a typo. Its on the factory sticker. That came with the car's options. I thought it strange too. I'll look at it at lunch to be sure.

Are you sure you are looking at the factory sticker and not something the Toyota dealer created and slapped on a used RX that resembles a factory sticker. I have my original 01 sticker and I can't find a manufacture date on it anywhere. I thought the last 01s were manufactured in Apr 2001.

Default UPDATE on my Claim

Got the phone call today, Lexus will step up and provide us with a brand new engine. Best news I've had in a while. Again fellow members, keep those receipts and change that oil per the Lexus recomendations.
