I was curious if anyone has high mileage on their RX300? Just curious if there is longevity in this vehicle.

 

10000 miles and i got it in january

 

took delivery of my '01 RX300 in 11/00, mileage: 3
the current mileage: 21759 as of 11/02/01

 

It's been 1 year and 3 month (had it since August 18, 2000) and the odo just went to 12000 miles.

Just under 30K miles. Took delivery in Jan. '00. Aside from some expected wear and tear, runs great still.

 

I put 40k miles on my 99' RX, very happy Lexus owner!

 

2 months and 6000 miles. I thought I had a lotta miles but sleepybobcat beat me to it. Well, I drove it from Phoenix to Seattle 1500 miles 7 days after I bought it. Also it was a demo with 1000 miles on it.

I've got just over 10000 on my silversport, and I only picked it up in July. A nice cross-country drive from NY to Arizona, plus a trip up to Maine last month put the miles on in a hurry. BTW, I'm going to have to scan in a pic of my RX, that I took up in Maine - sitting under the yellow fall foliage gives the silversport a beautiful golden aura. Really nice. Its performance has been flawless.

Got in August and have 4500 miles.

 

I'm excited... Just posted 4 pics of my RX sitting under the fall foliage in Maine. The RX qualifies as "Vehicular art" as far as I'm concerned.

 

Thanks for the pics, they look great. The monochromatic paint scheme really looks good on the RX.

Hi. I don't usually post in here, so probably won't be back to see a follow-up so if someone wants to ping me, send a PM.

Anyway, my wife's RX300 has 65K so thought that might be of interest to others here.

Only two problems have been a piece of trim inside the rear hatch that's come loose a couple of times, and the driver's seat belt wouldn't retract (dealer fixed this). Other than that, it's been great. Doesn't feel as 'tight' or quiet as when it was new, but it runs great. Mostly highway miles.

You enthusiasts would HATE the way my wife treats the car, since she's a horse rider and the car gets filthy a lot with dust/hay/ horse ****, etc! Cats sleep on the hood sometimes at the barn.

But, she loves the vehicle.

Oh, and we replaced the CRAP Goodyear Integrity tires with Michelin Symmetry tires after 35K and we like the Michelins better.

 

3 years and 3 months. 29 K miles. No big problems.

 

Nothing to brag about, really. Actually I'm disappointed with how quickly the miles are piling up on our truck... Wife's driving it to work every day... 40min commute on a highway each way.

Had the same issue with the trim on rear door as "bitkahuna", also the glove compartment door was rattling. After 2 tires dealer finally fixed both issues.

Anyone hit a 100K yet?

 

10,500 in 6 months...

...But I'll be making a little 1,000 mile road trip next weekend to Atlantic City, NJ for a little Gam...bling!
