Thumbs up

I have 64000 miles on my 1999 RX300. I have had it 6 months, and never had a problem and dont anticipate any repairs on it. Love the car!!!

I have 64k miles on mine. It is a 2001. I really havent any problems except for a damn squeaky belt that wont go away.
I do believe the transmission is not as smooth as it once was. I have changed the fluid 3 times.

Yes I have a house, I bought the Rx in Nov 00. it was an early 2001. My wife drives it, we live on the northside of Atlanta, she works 100 miles round trip. Our other cars are a 2001 Tundra, 2002 BMW M3 convertible. We love to drive.

Just under 3,000 miles... I've been neglecting her, $hit she just got her 3rd wash today.. It's hard washing 2 cars at once.. Esp if one car gets washed once a month.. I should have took pics of the RX.. You guys would have screamed at me...

Bought mine in January 2000 and I have 87,000 miles on it. No problems. I am hoping to take this car to 200,000 miles. Then get a new car.

Purchased in 2000. One mile. Today, 120,473 miles. Maintained impeccably following the Lexus maintenance schedule. I would drive it cross-country in a heart beat! Minor problems along the way but all fixed. Currently working on a frayed seat belt. Found a couple places online that are certified to replace just the webbing. Sent it off last week, waiting for it to return. $69.

2002 RX 300 with 108,000 miles on it now (bought it in 2005 with 22,000 miles). Always serviced at local Toyota dealer and did whatever they recommend. They usually tell me it's a great running car when I take it in, and I agree. A few small door dings, but I think the exterior and interior look pretty darn good for that old of a car.

The only issue I've had with it was due to a 3rd party remote start I put on it. I had that remote start for 6 years and could start my car easily up to 1/2 mile range, then a couple of wires shorted out on it causing the car to constantly try and start the car (even though it was already started) - smoke galore, took about an hour before it finally died (of course I was freaking out - called the fire department who helped me move it). That caused a marble sized hole in the starter. $850 later, the only damage done was to the starter. I had them remove the remote start, replace the starter (although it's not oem and it sounds different starting it up, but oh well).

I sure miss my remote start now that winter is here. I ordered a 2014 about 1.5 months ago and it'll definitely have remote start on it (but no 3rd party).

I'm sure this 02 RX can put on many more miles. Once I get my 2014, I'm selling my 2002 - already have a friend who wants it.
