Default Fog light replacement! HELP!!!

So I made the mistake of trying to change out my factory fogs on my '99 RX300 to Silver Stars.....what a pain in the *** for the driver's side!!

I got the passenger side installed fine, but the drivers side is so hard to do, it is buried and VERY hard to get to. After fighting with the vehicle, I finally got the driver's side fog out, but now I can't get the Silver Star in!! Any suggestions? Anyone know of a walk-through with pics somewhere on the 'net? Help, ASAP!!

Thanks in advance!

well if you need more room in the driver side try removing the battery or even unbolt the whole fuse box and try to move it over carefully. but make sure you can snap and bolt the fuse box back in place when your done. it usually takes me under 5 min to replace both of the fog lights on my 99 rx, but i do have long and skinny hands.

Thus the name, zombie . . .

Check the socket to be sure it's not damaged or corroded, I think some folks have had a corrosion problem with water and salt in the base of the lamp messing it up pretty badly. If so, a new one can be an easier fix and a repair to the old socket.

easier way to change driver's side fog is to remove the bolt holding the intake pipe(black rubber material to the side fender) and push the whole assembly towards sterring, this gives 2 inches of space.. always unplud the wire first and then rotate the bulb to remove from the socket..

reverse the process for installing the bulb..i did it few days back, it wasn't easy but possible..

good luck
