Default Where is the location of the Fog Light relay 98 ls

My fogs are not working and I have checked everything and all seems OK. The only thing left to check is the fog relay. I cannot figure where the relay is in the fuse box under the hood. None of the labels say fog lights. Any help?

One relay is marked HEAD LP could that be it?

Thanks

OOPS, It's a 99, but I guess it doesn't matter... My 98 is a Land Cruiser...

On my 95, the fog light relay is on the BACK of the drivers side under-dash fuse box. You have to undo the bolts on the fuse box to get to it. Not sure how similar the 99 is tho.

Thanks, I'll try that.

Going to be hard for my old *** to squirm under there to check... Why do they make things hard.

my fsm(this is for a 95, mind you) says you'll have a much easier time getting to that fuse box if you remove the lower dash bezel(the one with the driver's floor light and alarm beep button). I've gotta do the same thing here soon, cuz my fog lights are MIA as well.

You do need to do that. here is a link to a thread describing how to allow your Fogs to be on w/o the headlights. It describes how to get to the relay and has pics.

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls4...omplete-4.html

Go to the last page for additional details and pics. including a short cut .

first , buy 2 new bulbs,
second fog lights only come on with the headlights.
third you can hear the fog light relay click if its working when you turn it on and off ,
fourth if your high beam is on then you have no fog lights
.

Default Fog relay position

In the area of the fuse box that is on the gas pedal, you must open it and behind it there are 4 fog relays, a power relay, an ignision relay, and one more. Lexus ls400
