hi everyone, trying to revive my rx that's been sitting on the driveway!

so it seems like for FWD models, there is no separate fluid /oil to be changed (transfer, differential) aside from transmission? this seems to be the case for older models, where the fluid is shared. i wish it were still this way as i've been putting off doing a separate change for the rx350.

Cold level is what the ATF should be when the engine is cold. I doubt the 2nd gear jerk is caused by ATF level, if I were you, I would either ask a trusted mechanic to check it out or sample ATF and send it off for oil analysis report (check for aluminum, iron level and ATF viscosity).
but cold still means that the car is running right? just not at operating temp. i think this is what confuses a lot of people.
