It is the motor mounts...temperature is what makes it either harder vibration or less as the oil in the mount is affected by heat..I had mine replaced, only 2 of the four and ta-da..all is well now..to check them you have to release tention of the engine to truly see if it is the mount..

Well I'm glad you solved the mystery, and I believe its the mounts but I don't think its temperature related. I live in So Cal and it certainly doesnt get cold here yet I have the same vibration issue.

cool to know though, It is annoying and I think I'll replace mine to fix it. Thanks!

I randomly get some vibrations especially when it's colder outside.

Hey DigitalEye,
Sorry about the confusion, what I was saying about the temperature is that ..the temperature sometimes dictated how rough the vibration is..In hot weather it is less likely to vibrate really hard, and yet in cold weather it tends to be more rough.

I am having a same issue.
Did you get them replaced by dealer?
What was the cost?

Wow, thsi thread just poped up

see my other thread with "vibrations while in "D""....

To me the same thing in Neutral it's all good

I looked at engine mounts, it's a possibility that I will check next weekend, will post my findings

I replaced all my engine mounts yesterday, no more vibrations, my Lexus feels new.....!!!
