Sunroof Deflector - Do they help the "noise issue"?
Has anyone put a sunroof wind deflector on their 99-03 RX 300 to try to dampen the "wind buffeting" you experience with an open sunroof? The one I have on my Acura works like a charm. I gotta tell ya', I can't stand to have the sunroof open on the Lexus due to the 'bass resonance' that I experience when driving at speed. I just ordered one on Ebay. Did I waste my money?

Sporty
Personal taste, I prefer the moonroof visor because it makes a car look sportier. I've had one for every one of my cars that has a moon/sun roof.
I had my visor since the car was new, so I can't tell you if it improves any noise, but I don't get the 'infrasound' that some people have experienced. There is another posting on this forum for someone that got the visor and said it helped.
The visor won't trap water either, if that's a fear.
