Odometer swap?
I recently bought an '02 RX300, its apparent the cluster has some problems. Miles not turning over. I've checked every other possible option and everything is leading to the cluster. So be it, my question is if I find a cluster with close to the same miles and decide to buy it, can I just swap them. I don't mean on a legal standpoint. Hell, I'll buy one with more miles as long as it works. I mean as far as any computer issues or things of that nature. Do I have to reset anything so my truck works with the new cluster do I just plug-in and go? My truck has NAVIGATION, VSC, etc. Do I have to find a cluster that supports an '02 with these options or are they all the same?
By the way, does anybody know where I may possibly find one for a "02 other than e-bay and the dealer?

I can't provide much help here except to say that a '99 or '00 cluster will not work because they did not have VSC. I'm assuming there is some sort of VSC light that lights up in the instrument cluster. So, a 2001 or 2002 should work.
Just a guess, but I don't see why you shouldn't be able to simply plug up the new (used, whatever)instrument cluster w/o any problems - it's just a display device for the various control computers.
