Default Cluster flashing problem

Alright so I'm a proud new owner of a 93 LS400.
It has 355XXX km's on it.
Runs fine. But they are small problems with it.
For instance the cluster is flashing consistently. I was told it might be the capacitors in it that have burnt out. But I was curious is it easier to just swap it out or is it worth actualy changing the capacitors on it.

Give me your input if you guys had this problem.
And thanks for the help on the crank Pulley. Helped a lot.

value goes down if the title shows the cluster as not showing true mileage so i would say yes.

Easier to swap clusters, yes, because the old cluster has to come out. As PD said, if value and true mileage is important, than get it fixed. If you don't really care, just swap in a different cluster. I would bet that it's probably cheaper, and faster to just replace the cluster with one w/ similar miles. Good luck.
