Default Window Control

I bought a 2001 Lexus last week and they disclosed an issue with the window controls. The driver side master switch controls the driver and rear driver side as it should. The front passenger switch does not work on the master or passenger door switch. The rear passenger window rolls down on its own randomly. The rear passenger switch in the door does work, with its own issue. Often, if I roll down the driver window, the rear passenger window also rolls down, then will not roll up unless I roll up the driver window just a little bit. I've removed the entire master switch when I drive just to not get the deafening noise from the back window rolling down.

I used a scan tool and there is a code for the driver side window switch, but I don't recall the exact code.

What steps might I need to take? I don't care to buy a new master switch if needed. I just want the windows to all work properly, including the dead switch (evidently a dead switch) in the passenger door. I'll take any pointers and work on it until it's fixed. Thank you in advance

I would like to check for any other potential problem before buying a part, but I am not sure how to go about doing that

good luck. Buy the part. Ebay used or an aliexpress one could be $40. Or you can spend weeks chasing wiring for no reason. Enjoy

I've never heard of a code for this. Can you scan it again? It's more than just a set of switches. There is a control module and relays.

Try to find a copy of "RX300 Body Electrical (BE) pdf"
