my 2001 rx300 power locks only work when its running...
My alarm in my car went off randomly one night, i had to use the fob from my house to shut it off.
(could have been an actual person yanking on the door handle, it happens around where i live)
Since then, my locks got gremlins. No power locks, unless the car is running or in ACC with the key, and no remote entry.
*note i had a older battery at the time
Battery in FOB perfect 3 volts; red led indicates signal.
One time, I open the door with the key, like normal, the alarm goes off! - deactivate with my keyless, bam, all works - everything is perfect.
Next, i think my battery went below 12v - no more locks.
Next, new battery, new driver's door lock actuator, large improvement for locking the drivers door, slightly different feel compared with OEM one.
battery reset. Alarm always blinks red led..
any ideas?
how do i make my alarm sound off again, so that i can get everything back for good?

my drivers door lock module/ master switch was apparently the issue.
i found a tarnished wire under my engine fuse panel (white with red stripe and grey bands colour wire) - I spliced in a fresh wire.
Next my door module, i used 99% alc and a cotton swab and cleaned the silver hard wires behind the module plug, the wires that do a 90 degree bend into the circuit board; I also took the driver lock switch cover off and rotated the white rocker 90 degrees, that makes the switch cover an on-off switch - and then i plugged it back into my car (still with my amp meter connecting my negative batter to the neg battery cable - and instantly had my power locks back - also next, i could watch the car go to sleep (with the hood latch depressed, doors closed, car locked)
